3rd FPMPOMPEI Parol Lighting & Christmas Party

Save the Date: December 17 Sunday 4:00PM.. For registration to participate, please contact Sol Tulang ‭(240) 603-3817‬

Christmas is just around the corner. In the spirit of the season, the Filipino Pastoral Ministry is hosting the 3rd Annual Parol Lighting Festival on December 17, the 3rd Sunday of Advent.

Parols of different shapes, sizes and colors will be lighted in a ceremony after the 3PM Filipino Mass. Parol Making and Lighting Festival started in 2015 as a Christmas Project of the Catechism class culminating into the blessing and lighting of all Parols.

This year the Christmas Parol Making Contest will be a team competition, not individually as we have done in the past two years. The FPM Summer Fun Teams were combined to form only 2 Christmas competitive teams. We added the Belen Making Contest (Nativity Scene) this year. Please see the flyer for other details.
