MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL.
FR. WALTER, FR. JONATHAN and staff and Volunteers
DEAR FRIENDS and PARISHIONERS of Our Lady of Pompeii.
I feel good writing to you this Christmas. I feel that I am at the conclusion of a long run, at the end of a great accomplishment. This year our parish has grown a lot in many different levels and directions. The most important of all is that our spiritual life is better this year and that our different communities work better together. I have seen so many people coming in church, even for a brief visit, during the day and especially at night.
Our new doors give a different feeling to all those who come in or pass by; I feel that the new doors are giving a sense of welcoming and new hope.
Our liturgies have been slowly increasing in number and participation. Our volunteers are more engaged. Financially we are doing well and even we are paying back the diocese for some loans of the past (2002).
So I feel very good about our community and this year of the JUBILEE OF MERCY we will zero into the Spiritual Formation. There are three things that I
would like to see happening:
1. An ongoing spiritual formation
2. A vocation Club
3. More attention to our Youth and Children.
So MERRY CHRISTMAS, HAPPY NEW YEAR and lots of BLESSINGS FROM THE LORD.
